My final Project... XD!

We mean by industrial pollution to the emission of harmful substances, toxic or hazardous, directly or indirectly from plants or industrial processes to the natural environment. These emissions can be: Air emissions , Discharges to public networks Sanitation, direct discharges to the ground or surface water channels, storage or disposal of industrial waste, Sounds in the environment
This is why we decided to create a project to resolve part of this problem, there's not much that we can do but anything is good,everything consist and to do a campaign through a few companys and give them information about what that industrial pollution can do, and try to stop it together..!!!

The Problem
The industrial pollution is the emission of harmful substances, toxic or hazardous, directly or indirectly from plants or industrial processes to the natural environment. These emissions can be:
• Air emissions
• Discharges to public networks Sanitation
• direct discharges to the ground or surface water channels
• storage or disposal of industrial waste
• Sounds in the environment These emissions are included in those arising from the products or products that the industries put on the market. For example, pollution of dioxins that can cause burning of PVC products in landfills and incineration, or the destruction of the stratospheric ozone layer by chlorofluorocarbons gases. In these cases, the best preventive policy is the outright prohibition of the use of the compound harmful, as was the case of CFCs under the Montreal Protocol and the London Agreement.
In the case of PVC there is a big controversy, with arguments in favor, by manufacturers, and campaigns against environmental groups that have the ban in countries such as Denmark, but not in others because, actually, PVC is a product that has great advantages for certain applications. As a general rule, so far, the policy mainly industrial pollution has been to the methods of remediation or end of pipe to the application of technologies such as filtering of smoke and gases, the purification of discharges or confinement in deposits safety of toxic waste. Such methods do not eliminate pollution, but the move from one medium to another: the sludge and residues of purification or filtered are to be deposited somewhere.

Engineering Solution

We think the best way to combat pollution is attacked from their place of origin, so it is of utmost importance that industries will change the way they conduct their proceedings in which he stored wastes into the environment as it is the burning of waste after work. What is appointed furthermore, it is important to emphasize that not only wastes are causing pollution by industries, also cut the trees for the use of wood is one of the factors that makes the industries have a greater effect on our environment. To improve all this is necessary that the industries do not cut so many trees because although the wood will be very necessary because it is also necessary for our environment and conservarce can not keep destroying our planet. It is important to note that not only changing the way industries work together can improve the environment is also necessary that each of us to do your part by making their activities as driving, using electricity and garbage not affect both our environment.

Methodology

The final objetive of this project is try to make a better world trougth the information, because we're owns of we future, we want that the companys think a little more in the environment.
We start to visit four companys and give two conference about this problem, each conference lasts an hour the objetive is give all the information that we can give trougth leaflets,pictures, videos and more.

Elena Salgado, Spain's Health Minister, is 55 years old and was born in Ourense. She has two degrees, one in Industrial Engineering which she obtained at the University Polytechnic of Madrid, and the second in Economics obtained at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Ms Salgado has sat on the board of directors of several public and private companies, including Hispasat, Telefónica, Retevisión, Correos y Telégrafos (Spanish Post Office) and Caja Postal.
Elena Salgado has worked in three different ministries during her career (the Ministry of Health is her fourth). She directed the Department of Studies in the Institute of Small and Medium-sized Businesses in the Ministry of Industry in the early 1980s. She was appointed General Director of Personel Costs and State Pensions in 1985 in the Ministry of Economics and Finance. And in 1991 she was appointed Secretary of State for Communications in the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Environment and served in this post during the last term of Felipe Gonzalez's government.

For her Engineering is the art of applying scientific knowledge to the invention, development or use of the technique in all its determinations.Is use the ingenuity of a more agile.The ingenuity involves a combination of wisdom and inspiration for modeling any system in practice, what influenced her to pursue informatics engineering was the Interesting in deepen in all stuff about the software that they use in own computers,the way that the informatic grow up,and the interesting in how to do this softwares and solve all the problems that the computers have; Have a ingenuity, be agile in mathematics, have constancy and you have to like the carrer are some skills that she thinks that a good engineer needs; she wants have a job where she can work in web page and sistems, as a student she enjoying all her student life cause every single moment is part of the experience,good moments,bad moments,happy moments,sad moments,friends,profesors; her plans for the future are get a good job, be a Successful profesional and have her own business. =)

What's Engineering...

My opinion about industrial engineering is that it's applies fundamentals from the mathematical, physical, and management sciences to efficiently design and analyze large systems that serve a company, i belive this career is the most complet 'cuze you know about everything and you can work in any company, in hospital, in bank anywere, to become in a IE you need to graduate from high school and study in a good university that way you can larn more and be able to solve any problem in any time 'cuze this are some of the skills that a good engineer needs, when i graduate i hope work in a big company like PDVSA, as student i enjoy hang up with my friends and learn a little more everyday and the most difficult thing is live in another place far away from the university, my plans for the future are work in a big company, buy my house and a car, get merried and have childrens.
I recommend Engineering as a career 'cuze for me is the most beautiful career and it's pretty important well i love it =)..!!

What do Industrial Engineers do?

Industrial Engineers design systems to enable people and society to improve productivity, efficiency and effectiveness and the quality of the work environment. All engineers work at planning, designing, implementing and controlling the systems that represent the way people use technology. The systems that are the subject of Industrial Engineering design are broad* and are characterized by a need to integrate both the physical and decision making capabilities of humans together with all other aspects of the system design. Problems range* from the design of a work method and work station, to the design of a factory layout* and methods of controlling the flow of materials on the factory floor, to the design of an overall corporate plan involving materials procurement, production, inventory and distribution. The idea of a factory is also extended to include health care systems, municipal systems, transportation systems; in fact all the systems that are essential to the functioning of modern society. Systems that facilitate effective decision making and implementation in areas such as scheduling*, inventory, and quality control are typical of industrial engineering.

The Future of IE
Job opportunities for Industrial Engineers are both challenging and widely* based. I’m from Maracaibo, originally,but i live in La Cañada de Urdaneta.

I’m 19 years old, I'm studying industrial Engineering at URBE and I love it 'cuz it's about Materials Science..!!

I love sleep =D.. studying all my subjects, dancing,surfing the net, and go out with my friends. .

I hate listening to Vallenato's music.. getting up early on the weekend, violence, war, injustice, and hypocrisy.

My dream is living on Canada Of course, I want to graduate from Engineering School..

I also want so much to learn another language=D.

I’d love to work in an important company and buy a house, get married and start a family :D.

About English, I love to learn new languages. I think English is pretty important. I can speak well, but I need to practice more.

The most difficult for me is writing.
